Guru-the signpost

The path of highest awareness is a steep climb. Enroute to the peak, I passed many signposts, pointing to the peak. I saw many seekers prostrating at the signposts. I continued to climb without turning back. I reached the peak and enjoyed the view. I came down to narrate the experience of the peak, I saw the seekers still camping at the signposts. They were married to the signpost. Gurus are the signposts pointing to the peak. We have to follow the signs and continue our journey.
